About the Role

We are seeking a Conveyancing Solicitor to join our New Lynn team.

This role is ideal for a solicitor who enjoys working directly with clients, managing a varied workload, and contributing to the continued growth of a boutique practice.

Your primary focus will be conveyancing, with experience across commercial law, trusts, and estates highly regarded.

You will have the opportunity to take ownership of your matters, deliver high-quality legal outcomes, and contribute ideas that help shape the future direction of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of conveyancing matters from start to completion
Deliver high-quality and efficient legal work
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Manage high-volume workloads with accuracy and care
Provide practical and solution-focused legal advice
Collaborate with legal executives and administrative staff
Contribute to improving internal processes and practices
Develop professional networks and contribute to client growth
Meet agreed financial and performance targets

About You

We are looking for a solicitor who demonstrates:

Minimum 2 years PQE managing conveyancing matters
Current New Zealand practising certificate
Strong technical conveyancing capability
Experience in trusts, estates, and commercial law highly regarded
Ability to manage high-volume, high-quality work
Excellent organisation and attention to detail
Strong work ethic and solution-focused mindset
Professional and personable communication style
Strong commitment to client service
Collaborative approach to teamwork
Motivation to improve processes and develop new client relationships
Proven ability to meet financial targets

Working Arrangement

The role offers a hybrid working environment, with:

4 days at the New Lynn office + 1 day working from home, subject to mutual agreement.
